The treatment programs at Journey Healing Centers were derived from years of research and experience. Around the clock care is essential, especially in the first few days of recovery. Each client receives individual assessment upon arrival to determine their individual needs and level of care, tailor made to best aid in development of a sober lifestyle. Repairing the elements that have been lacking in life of one who is chemically dependent become the focus and the first step in the recovery process. One must become free of not only their chemical dependencies, but of the multitude of past negative aspects in their life that have resulted from the disease. We place no limit on the length of stay, as no two client’s needs are the same.

Young Adult Program

Our philosophy is to guide and educate the young adults on the many dangers of the new so called “Club Drugs.” There are many long term side effects to using at such a young age. Our young adult program is available for the late teens, 18 and over, when these addictions are most prevalent. From the late high school years to the early college years, young adults are very susceptible to peer pressure and the term “casual use.” Through alternative treatment, adventure therapy and a unique understanding, Journey Recovery Center can help stop this pattern before it’s to late. We encourage the parents and family members to participate in our young adult program. From family groups, over the phone long distance sessions and outdoor therapy our young adult therapists specialize in this treatment.
