If you would have asked me 28 days ago if I thought Sundance was a good idea for me I would have said “no way”, that’s for those people who have no control over themselves and no will power. As I sit here 28 days later I get it, the fear, resentment and pain are gone and I am ready to get back to my life, a better and sober life.

Sundance has opened my eyes to life without substance. I forgot how amazing life is. I have learned how to embrace my personality and the gifts God has given me. Coming to Sundance was the best decision of my life.

Sundance has been a life changing experience for me. I feel so blessed to have gotten the counselors and roommate that I did. I truly feel God’s grace for allowing me the opportunity to come here and heal. Sundance employees provided many options and opportunities to expose me to a variety of healing techniques/solutions for my individual maladies. Sundance had been a wonderful much wanted/needed stepping stone and aid for me in my recovery. I am leaving Sundance feeling spiritually, mindfully, and physically connected as well as full of hope for the future as well as finding my true North.

I am clean and confident in my sobriety and I now pack the gear to serve others and myself in my new sober life.

Sundance has challenged me to explore areas of my life that I had either forgotten about, or stuffed. In exploring these issues, I have come to understand the root causes of my addiction and have been provided the tools to deal with them in a constructive, healthy manor.

I had an amazing experience here at Sundance. I feel like I have been reborn or at least refound the innocent, fun loving little girl that I had lost so many years ago.
